Before your session, Tina will ask detailed questions about your health history, areas of concern, and goals. This helps customize the session to your specific needs. Please arrive a few minutes early. Wear comfortable clothing.
We accept out-of-network insurance benefits. Upon request, we provide a superbill (detailed itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please check your plan's out-of-network coverage before booking.
It depends on your surgery type:
• Cosmetic surgery (liposuction, plastic surgery): Often 3–7 days post-op once the wound is closed. Many surgeons recommend starting within 48–72 hours for early gentle drainage.
• Cancer/tumor surgery (lymph node removal): Usually 2–4 weeks after drains are removed and incision is stable. Must be performed by a therapist with oncology rehab credentials.
• Abdominal/pelvic surgery (C-section, hysterectomy): Generally 4–6 weeks after physician confirms internal healing.
Requirements before starting: Wound must be closed with no open incisions, no acute infection or fever, and physician clearance is required. We ask all post-surgical clients to provide written medical clearance (doctor's note) before booking — this protects both you and your therapist.
We require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be charged 50% of the service fee. No-shows will be charged the full amount. We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as soon as possible.
We're on the 2nd floor of 257 Castro St, Mountain View. Enter through the front glass doors, walk through the courtyard, take the stairs to the 2nd floor, and look for the green door labeled "HyFlow Massage LLC — 214."
